Mumzworld.com is the Middle East’s 1st and largest online marketplace catering to the needs of mothers and children. Presently, this “Amazon for moms” has an SKU count of over 1.5 lakh and over 2 lakh registered customers.

Mumworld is an online store built on Magento 1.7.02 When the Mumzworld team was on a lookout for a digital commerce partner in 2013, they already had a live Magento webstore which was giving a satisfactory performance. However, the ambitious team had plans to enhance the performance from good to great.

    Development of an international webstore

    To cater to customers outside India, a separate webstore has developed with a different catalogue, currency converter, more shipping and payment options.

With the high level of customization involved on the basic Magento 1.7, feature development has been a continuous challenge. Each time a new feature is added, it is tested for conflict with the existing features, and its compatibility is ensured.
